I’m a Seattle-based author with a passion for writing and talking about the need to create technology—and especially AI—for everyone.

I’ve been one of only a few women in meetings with the top tech leaders of the industry. I’ve played with robots, seen new tech move out of the labs and into the mainstream, written stories about the potential for AI to reshape our world. And along the way, given public speaking advice to people in high places I could have never imagined.

Born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, I first learned about the challenges women face in our society from my mother, a middle school teacher. I received my MBA from the London Business School and my BA from Boston College.

When I’m not writing, I spend my days with husband, my two kids and our two Airedales, Stanley and Safira Rose. I’m interested in creating a world where my daughter can have the same opportunities as my son.

My debut novel, Decoding Hope, is agented at the Sandra Dijkstra Agency.
